Affordable Child & Adolescent Counseling - Medicaid Accepted
Updated: Jul 1, 2022

I provide therapy to children, adolescents, and families with children. All my treatments are conducted virtually through the Live Online Youth Counseling Center at Parenting and Child Conduct Counseling. I believe you will find online counseling convenient, affordable, and effective.
Many private practice counselors charge $150 and up outside of insurance for their services. Although I have over 25 years of experience counseling youth, my services are much more affordable. I accept Medicaid and most commercial insurances, and my services are offered for $70 per session outside of insurance. Live Online therapy eliminates the need for office space, and I am passing the savings along to clients.
Researchers have gotten positive results in telementalhealth studies. Based on recent research and my own experience, Live Online Therapy is an effective and affordable alternative for many clients (Abby et al., 2022; Snoswell et al., 2021; Anderson, 2022). In other studies, researchers have found no empirical evidence suggesting that telementalhealth is inferior to in-person therapy (Abby, et al., 2022).

Some clients and therapists are satisfied with Live-Online Counseling; others are not. In cases where the client and therapist are comfortable with the format, Live-Online counseling may be more effective than in-person treatments (Anderson, 2022).
