My Story

I graduated from Missouri State University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in Child and Family Development. My education continued at Lindenwood University, earning a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling, where I graduated in 2020.

While in Springfield, Missouri, as an undergraduate, I worked in a foster home with young women who had dealt with trauma. Many displayed severe behavioral problems. I loved my time there and understood why those young women struggled daily.

During my time at the foster home, internship, and as a Counselor-In-Training, I realized how much I enjoy gaining my client's trust and collaboratively setting individual goals. I hope to continue to help as many people as I can with my counseling career! It truly feels like my calling.

Recently, I met all requirements to practice as a PLPC and am under the supervision of Andy Anderson (License #2010008296) for the next two years. As my supervisor, Andy will confer with me weekly to review client progress, discuss treatment plans, and review reports. You can reach Andy at 636-229-1458 or aanderson@LiveOnlineCounselor.com.

I recently married in 2021 and have three guinea pigs named Benjamin, Leif, and Pebbles.
